B1G+: Watch College Sports App Reviews

Agh... The app really should work in order to write a review. This app doesnt work. As in... Does nothing. Not sure what BTN thinks it is doing with this.

Had to figure out my Verizon Id and password, but once I did that, worked perfectly using wifi.

The app wont let me log into my cox account to view the game today. It better be fixed before 2:30!

Its great. This app or watch ESPN app, and others these meatballs write bad reviews because they cant read the rules. Its like flying a certain airlines where people complain they have to pay for carry on, when they warn you you will b4 you book the flight. Is it ignorance, laziness, or pure stupidity with these reviews?

I dont ordinarily write reviews but fairness mandates that I do so here. I almost didnt bother trying this app at all after reading all of the horrendous reviews from early September, the beginning of the 2015 football season. But I did and over my office Wi-Fi connection it worked fine to stream a Big 10 football game on my iPhone 6. I didnt experience the crashes and issues many others did. It would have been nice to be able to rewind more than 30 seconds behind live action, but the app did rejoin the game after each commercial break without a problem. The video was fluid and decent quality. Its not as robust an app as watchESPN but it got the job done - for me at least.

Cut the cord two years ago. Thought I would get this to watch some college basketball, just assumed that in 2015 they would have a non cable or whatever version, just subscribe and watch, didnt read the small print. But nope. People who dont want 200 channels of vapid programming cant watch BTN. Perhaps they need to get the right people in there cutting their deals for them. TV? I remember that.

Streams are interrupted by buffer but never are the ads slowed. Still not sure I understand why to get full use of this app I have both pay my monthly cable bill and an additional fee. I could understand if I could do one or the other but both is stupid

Since the newest update the APP wont open, cant even delete to reinstall! Its a real mess!

Says I dont have access to content, even tho I am signed in thru Xfinity. Wont play live content. Unbelievable that such a high profile org. would put their initials on this app. Dont bother to download.

Went to use this to watch hockey games and it is difficult to navigate and misleading what you will gain access to at best with a BTN Plus subscription. You cant cancel without chatting with a rep either, its certainly only designed to collect money not deliver what is expected.

I upgraded to an iPhone 6 with iOS 8 and the BTN app no longer works properly. I can watch 2 minute clips for highlights, but it crashes every time I try to watch live programming. Kinda defeats the purpose of the app, dontcha think!?

This app is terrible and it crashes all the time right in the middle of when youre trying to watch a game. Fix it!

I not only had Apple refund my $85 annual subscription, but I am writing a letter to my states Attorney General. You cable cord-cutters out there wont be able to watch much for your $80-120 per year. If you dont have cable, YOU CANNOT WATCH LIVE BASKETBALL or FOOTBALL. Run away from this rip-off!

This app requires cable access for Big Ten games, which makes it almost useless. Why use the app if the game is already on cable TV? When that happens, the prompt "Available after midnight" usually comes up. Until the Big 10 cuts the cable, this app will not help you do so.

I downloaded this app because I thought that it would have access to B10 sports other than football or basketball, or occasionally women soccer. God for bid you want to watch something other than those three, or even find a score, youre out of luck. Dont waste your time with this app

Cannot watch two "live" events because BTN2GO says the events "have not started yet." In actuality, they are both in the SECOND HALF now, with people tweeting the scores WITHIN THE APP! And to think I PAID extra money for BTN Plus for these very teams! Guess I am the fool. Pretty embarrassing, BTN.

Downloaded app for a marathon waiting room stint at the doctors office only to find I get an error message "destination unknown" when I try to sign in via AT&T Uverse. Very frustrating.

The best I can figure you must live in a Big 10 state to use the app. Dont bother if you live in Virginia.

This app has such potential, but it fails miserably in some major areas. For starters, being able to look at only a weeks worth of games at a time, and filtering by only one sport, makes it so cumbersome. Im trying to turn on game notifications and it keeps telling me theyre turned off in Settings, but theyre not!! I can choose a school but it doesnt save my favorite schools, so every time I open the app I have to re-select the school. Yikes, this is pretty crude. I also cant find any app support to contact to find out about my notifications problem. Beyond the app, the BTN2go service is poor. Ive missed major portions of games because of technical issues, or the resolution is so poor its hardly worth watching, or the stream is choppy. If theyre going to charge us beyond the cost of our BTN subscription I expect better service and quality. Unfortunately its the only option for watching so many of the non-prime time sports.

This app could be fantastic but I cant find the first two episodes of the journey 2016. The only episode I can find is episode 3. Once again, this app fails to help the customers who look forward to watching great programs when they unfortunately miss the original airing on TV.
